And, once again, the Petitioning Kickoff Breakfast will be February 29, 10am-12pm, at the VID Clubhouse, 26 Perry Street.  Murray’s bagels, cream cheese, coffee and fruit salad will be served, courtesy of Senator Hoylman and Assemblymember Glick. Most of our endorsed candidates will attend and afterwards we will fan out throughout the Village and collect signatures. Even if you have picked up your petitions beforehand, please come for the breakfast and stay afterwards to petition!

The Particulars

We will have two sets of petitions — one with Congressmember Jerry Nadler at the top (for West Siders) and one with Congressmember Carolyn Maloney at the top (for East Siders).

The rest of the petitions will be the same, and will include our endorsed candidates: State Senator Brad Hoylman, Assemblymember Deborah Glick, State Committeemembers Rachel Lavine and Benjamin Yee, Countywide Civil Court Judges David Cohen, Leticia Ramirez, and Michael Katz, District 1 Civil Court Judge Carol Feinman, District 1 Civil Court Judicial Candidate John Wang. and a suite of 17 candidates for Judicial Delegate and 17 candidates for Alternate Judicial Delegate (distributed among four different clubs, of which five delegates and five alternates are from VID).  You can see our list of candidates here: https://villagedemocrats.org/issues-actions/endorsements/.

Special Note

You can collect signatures from anyone registered to vote anywhere in Manhattan, because we are carrying the position for Countywide Civil Court Judge.
