November 7 Ballot Endorsements

At the Oct. 12th Meeting VID voted upon November 7 Ballot  Endorsements VID voted to oppose proposal #1 and approved proposals # 2 and #3.  For City Council District 1 there was no endorsement. April Membership Meeting

VID’s April Membership Meeting covered petitioning results, Candles for Clemency, the AIM Pipeline, 45 Rivington St. AND endorsements for NYS candidates. VID 2016 Officers, Phase One

On December 10, VID 2016 Officers were elected and after considerable discussion the Club voted No Endorsement for the Democratic Presidential Primary. With 32 members present, elections took place for VID 2016 officers – a President and three Vice Presidents for 2016:  Nadine Hoffmann, President; Linda Jacobson, Vice President; Erik Coler, Vice President, and Barbara Ruether, Vice President.  A Treasurer, Recording Secretary, two Corresponding Secretaries and the Executive Committee will be elected at the January 14 meeting.  Here are the election rules.
