Primary day is coming up on June 23rd. VID recommends that everyone request an absentee ballot ASAP. This can be done by phone or mail, but the easiest way is simply to go to www.nycabsentee.com.
VID endorsements for the June 23 Primary include the following candidates in contested races:

- Carolyn Maloney for United States Congress, Congressional District 12
- Brad Hoylman for New York State Senate, Senate District 27
- Rachel Lavine for State Committeewomen, Assembly District 66
- John Wang for Civil Court Judge, 1st Municipal District
