VID’s next Membership Meeting has a full and important agenda.  We urge all members to attend and welcome friends and guests.

3.     VID Club Elections

  • 1 President
  • 3 Vice Presidents
Due to circumstances beyond our control notification of dues renewal haven’t gone out.  Please bring a check to the membership meeting in case your dues need to be renewed.  Nobody will be allowed to vote if their dues are in arrears.  Thank you.Please click here for  information on voting and election proceduresAny candidate who wishes to send a statement to the VID email list prior to the December Annual Meeting election must deliver the statement by standard format pdf scan to Tony Hoffmann  no later than 5:00 p.m. December 5, 2013. (It is not required to send an email statement; candidates will have the opportunity to distribute literature and to speak at the Annual Meeting within prescribed time limits.)

  • Letter to Senator Gillibrand supporting her position on how the military should handle sexual assaults
  • Letter to Senator Reid to thank him for stopping the filibuster for Presidential appointments and judicial appointments, except for Supreme Court
6.  VID members discussion on candidates for Speaker of the City Council (This is not an endorsement vote.  It is a sharing of information and preferences.  No vote will be taken).
